A site was chosen in the Tower Junction shopping precinct in a visible location on the corner of Troup Drive, Clarence Street and Whiteleigh Avenue.
The site enjoys a high profile, with Whiteleigh Avenue forming part of a significant transport route linking the northern and southern suburbs of the city, and Troup Drive forming the western entrance to the Tower Junction shopping centre. The premise was chosen for its sizeable retail area, warehousing, office, and amenities. It is an ideal location for Bivouac as it exists as part of a larger precinct of specialist outdoor retailers.
