With over 70 years’ experience, NZ Safety Blackwoods is one of New Zealand’s leading providers of safety equipment, engineering, workwear, hygiene, and packaging. Already operating successfully out of an existing Epoch property, a neighbouring vacancy provided an opportunity for NZ Safety Blackwoods to expand and streamline their business. A project team combining landlord and tenant interests worked together on the reconfiguration of the new extended site. Communication proved vital during the development, as the business remained open to the public throughout construction. Completed in 2021, NZ Safety Blackwoods opened their new premise without any associated moving downtime — keeping their customers and staff happy while maintaining business operations throughout.
