
Metro Performance Glass is the largest value added glass processor in New Zealand.
It produces a range of customised glass products that are predominantly used in residential and non-residential construction applications such as windows, doors, internal partitions, balustrades, showers, mirrors, furniture and splashbacks.
Metro Performance Glass has national coverage through 17 decentralised sites, including five major processing sites, a fleet of over 260 service vehicles and 700 employees across New Zealand.
This large industrial property is situated on the eastern side of Halswell Junction Road in the Hornby industrial area and sits on 2.20 hectares of land. The building was designed to meet the requirements of MetroGlassTech by Sumich Architects. It incorporates architectural features employing the use of glass, including an extensive glazed facade around the main entry, showroom and reception area. The building provides three main components comprising of the main factory area, showroom and first floor offices and cafe and staff amenities areas.
